Likeness
Yesterday, rather good friend/guitarist/producer Scott sent me a link to this little painting. Other than the fact that I'm right handed, wouldn't be caught dead in creamsicle slacks, and am a little more, um, pot-bellied than this guy, it's a pretty crazy fit. Right down to the quarter notes.

Paul, this is hilarious. I showed Billy the picture without him knowing what blog I was on and asked him who it looked like, and it took about 2 seconds before he said, "Paul." Awesome. Oh and by the way, Billy very much appreciated that thing you sent about Tom Waits. Yeah, we are sticking around and pretty excited about it.
That is AMAZING. You're getting these, right? Or would it be too creepy? Or maybe look as though you commissioned someone to do them-- like a really nice version of tourist trap caricatures? Or maybe you have a doppelganger out there (they're real) that this artist is romantically involved with. The possibilities are endless.
this is awesome. I am waiting for a series to be created about me, without me knowing. awesome.
