Quilting Mania

Here are a couple photos of some of the fabrics I'm using for my quilts. I just started cutting the squares for the baby's quilt... I'll update the photos as I make progress.

Also, below is the first (and only, so far) quilt I've ever completed. I made it under the direction and help of my friend Marianne Holt Viray years ago in Virginia. I'm still grateful to her for introducing me to her craft... even though it's taken me some 6 years to repeat the effort. Thanks, Marianne... wherever you are. :)

I keep telling myself I need to find a hobbie, a talent I have, something for cryin out loud. I love the fabric you choose for your little one. I can't wait to see the finished product. So excited for your shower...you got your invitation right? I just want to make sure.

Happy Quilting

Holly I stumbled on your blog somehow....through my friend Steph Wallins..and then I think it linked to someone eles and then to yours....weird.
Anyway it's Rachel's sister Jessie and she was just talking to me about you today and I was wondering when your baby was coming. Hope your feeling good....are you ready for this life changing event.
It's awesome.... exhausting but awesome.....
Congratulations!

Hey Holly, I just started a quilt myself. I haven't sewn in over 15 years. Wish me luck!! :) Your fabric is fabulous. Can't wait to see the finished product. Your baby boy is going to love it. So soon, isn't it. I'm so excited for you both!

Hey lady! Thanks for the nod, although I don't think my quilting has ever been called a "craft" before - that makes it sound like I know what I was doing, and that's a slight exaggeration. Congrats on baby Leo - hope you are enjoying motherhood. Would love to catch up.
