Halloweenhead or Here Come The Rooster

I don't have our camera and its 467 photos of the Leaozinho (who, it should be noted, would NOT put on the lion costume. Too much mane-in-the-face.) in his Halloween costume with me right now. Fortunately, we seem to always have friends (who are invariably and indisputably and infinitely better photographers than we are, which might be why we- on some primal, subconscious level- don't take pictures. I mean if you have friends like ours, why wouldn't you outsource your photography?) who come through.

In this case, the now-Californian Bowens, who came by for a Swaddle Season Reunion.* Thanks to Nathan for taking the photos, the Johnsens for the costume, and Blind Melon for providing Norah's costume with a pop culture reference that I could beat to death.

OK. Fine. The photos.

Some kind of play-on-words about spreading wings
would really go a long way in classing this photo up.

I worship this photo. Babykids at this age can't filter/veil their joy/anger/etc.
Too-cool-detachment and keeping-it-close-to-the-vest are years away still and I love it.

This photo paves the way for a future intraband argument in which Norah jabs,
"How can you tell? I'm just one of the out-of-focus guys!!!"

* Oh, come on, you remember The Swaddle Season. It's Leo & Norah's folk duo? This was them a year ago.
