SLUMPBREAKER!!!

(Leo after a hike up by Brighton with two of his four favorite grandparents. Notice the subtle tribute to Keith Van Horn that's taking up the part of his leg that goes from his ankles to the place where we're pretty sure his knees are.)

Sorry. Time got away from us. I got busy guestblogging about my Telluride experience (four volumes worth). Holly has valiantly attacked the yard (first time), the world of summer toddling (first time), and our room's decor (third and last time). Hopefully we'll post some photos of that soon.

In the meantime, in the spirit of slumpbreaking, here are some pictures from our summer (that my mom sent) so far.

Leo & Grandpa go for a hike. Well, Grandpa does at least.

Leo breaks in the first of many Cousins Week tie dye shirts. He got more than enough attention from his awesome cousins as well as new dogs Scout and Fresca (not pictured).

Leo gets used to the cold water of the lake with Uncle Ben (no relation to the ricemaker). This is a marked improvement from last year's sheer hatred for the cold water and his Not So Sure stance regarding the Pacific Ocean.

Leo & I on the back porch at Hebgen. Leo's Crocs + my mullet are a recipe for world domination.

Glad we got to spend some time at Hebgen with you this year. I need to sent you copies of the photos of you skiing.....don't let me forget!

True to my stalker form, I read all four guest blogs. Two questions...what exactly was the compliment of your career? You totally left us hanging. Second, you won a guitar? You wrote that you failed to win, so I'm guessing you won the best looking mullet or something. Seriously, it sounds like you got really far. Did the top 10 win guitars or what?
On an un-Telluride-y note, I'm loving the chubby-legged Leo, and I can't wait to see more of him. The high socks make it an amazing outfit. Good work, Holly.
