Tummy Time

The following photos, to the untrained eye, could appear to be symptomatic of parental negligence. What they are, however, are a documentation of Leo's Tummy Time. Tummy Time, for those who have yet to enter the realms of pea soup diapers and words that end in "-ies" (or just prefer not to use the word "tummy" whenever possible), is intended to help babies learn to roll over, develop muscles, take cute pictures, etc.

Leo's not exactly a fan.

Here, he plays nice for the camera. His patience has yet to be worn down. Spirits are high.

Here, Leo nears the rollover with all sorts of cheers from his mother. Look at the eyes, though, and you will see a baby on the edge.

And, that ever cherished moment, when Leo's boiling point is reached. There are a few photos after this, but I'm trying to keep Child Services away from our little blog.

NOTE: Leo has since warmed up to Tummy Time, in short doses. He can roll over, but isn't exactly a jukebox of Baby Talents. He doesn't take requests.

Leo rocks the striped, sleeveless one piece with authority. Ever since the 'magnum' photo I have been impressed by that.
cute kid.
