I'm officially 4 days overdue today. I guess it's not THAT long when you put things into perspective(especially when I think about my mom carrying me 4 WEEKS too long. What a trooper), but each new day with no new baby seems like an eternity. I've been trying to talk myself into enjoying this down time while I have no responsibilities and nothing to do (except to write thank you notes that I've been putting off for weeks... I promise, they will get to you sooner or later). But with this constant little reminder kicking and punching in my belly, I can't seem to get my mind off his impending arrival! I have organized the nursery over and over. I can't do it any longer. I have even washed some of his clothes multiple times because they seem to be getting dusty. Yes, I'm becomming a freak. It's got to stop. He needs to come.
Here is a photo of the nursery I've done here in my in-laws home.

I'm really going to miss the amazing closets and storage space we have here when we move into our house in June. But I'm excited to have my own place and to paint, decorate and organize all my stuff that's been in boxes in the garage for the last two years. Plus, I can't wait to have Charlotte and Ted back. It's about time. They've really been missed.
I suppose it's true... good things come to those who wait. Well, I'm waiting little guy. I hope you come soon.

Holly - I've been there (hopefully our little girl won't put me through that torture too). Ethan was a week overdue before he decided to make his debut, but you'll make it. Hope he comes soon, I'll be anxious to see pictures. ( : Good luck with the delivery. Take care, Kris
We're waiting on pins and needles for any news here! Best of luck to you. Will you be induced if he doesn't come on his own by a certain date?
i had been wondering if you had the baby yet! :) I guess not. I was overdue with Sophie. I have heard it just goes that way a lot with your first. Goodluck. My dad always tells everyone it is easier when the baby is still inside- but I believe he only thinks that b/c he has never been pregnant! And even though you are exhausted after- you at least get to hold the little one and love them to death. We are excited for you guys!
I was a week over due but for some reason I wasn't anxious. I think I just knew what was ahead. Well, do some walking. That seemed to help me. Good luck! I'm excited to see pics.
I was a week over due with Naomi. But for some reason I wasn't anxious so it wasn't that bad for me. Well, do some walking. It seemed to work for me. Good luck!
Hang in there! The nursery is darling! I'm excited for you guys!
good to see that he will start his life (at least assuming he comes before july) in my room. However, you may have to pay some awesome tax for letting him sleep there. I am certain some of my awesomeness is still left over, and will inevitably rub off on the little guy!
Yeah - seriously - enough already! Let's get this little guy here! I am getting so excited for you guys. But make sure Paul sends out a text or something when it all goes down.
We've been wondering and we are so anxious for you guys. Luke was 11 days late...I guess they just come when they are ready.
hillary finally had her baby 10 days overdue.
hope he comes soon, can't wait to see pics..
good luck!!!
Rachel was just telling me yesterday the baby hadn't come yet....
I remember how long those days of waiting are...especially when every morning you wake up and are sure today's the day!
(I say enjoy your last few days, hours, minutes of sleep...or time with Paul. Its about to get crazy..(a good crazy though) they are a lot easier on the inside, at least for me)
Good luck with everything! Can't wait to see pictures.
