I know that title sounds so dramatic. But that's how I'm feeling right now. Trying to keep an upbeat and positive attitude has been a struggle for me the last few days. My doctor is really encouraging me to wait this out and let my body go into natural labor. I agree with him on a certain level, but knowing I'll be 10 days overdue tomorrow stirs up all sorts of impatience within me. Not to mention the level of discomfort I'm experiencing at this point.
Believe me when I tell you that I realize it's not the end of the world if I have to wait another several days to meet this little guy. I mean, just listening to conference over the weekend and hearing that President Monson's wife was in a coma for 26 days, and didn't complain ONCE about her back surgery she recently had will make one feel all sorts of guilt and shame for complaining about a baby coming a little late.
Buck up, Holly.
Anyway, my point for posting this was a) because I needed to vent, and b) to let you all know that NO, he hasn't come yet.
Until then...

holly...
you are a brave woman, and I think you have full permission to complain as much as you want. I am 2.5 weeks away from my due date and feel like it is consuming my thoughts. I am sure he just wants a grand entrance!
sending you lots of love and support!

10 days!?!? I'm definitely sending some prayers upward on your behalf. and yes, you can complain! Please bless this little bundle of joy comes soon. Can't wait for the great news. xoxo jamie
While you wait...do you want to go to lunch? Or shopping? Or to get a pedi? I am happy to help you take your mind off the waiting part. Just let me know...I am really serious about all of the above!

I was 10 days late, and I turned out great...just think...your kid can be just like me, but a boy.
I'm trying to think what I can say that hasn't been said to you a hundred times already...but do hang in there, it's going to be worth it, etc. You deserve to complain all you want. You are one strong woman and this baby is so lucky to have you for his mother. We can hardly wait for his big entrance. We love you! - laura & co.

I keep checking your site for a picture of your little guy. He's sure to be cute. I'm amazed he hasn't come yet. He's sure to come tomorrow! Wishing you patience and good luck!
Hang in there. I'm sure your doing what you can to induce labor but walking seemed to help me.
John and I are praying for you! I can't imagine how excited you are to meet your little one! Hang in there!
I know it sounds (and is) nasty but have you tried caster oil...I have a friend that swears by it. She claims it has made her go into labor with all her kids.....
Good luck though he will be here soon! So exciting!
Holly,
I thought when I saw you for mani's last week that that would be IT for a while - wow, Holl! You are so amazing and willing to be humble, m'dear. We all love you so much. I'll call you for another mid-day date!
~Cher (and Matt and the kids love you, too)
As my sister once said to me, maybe he just needed a little extra time to clean up his womb.
I'm sure he'll make his entrance in no time. Hang in there! I'll look forward to the news of his arrival.
name the baby something that reminds you of red hair or red haired boys.
